  • What exactly is a "Semi"?
"Semi" is a 46-gram, plant-based superfood made to support women’s hormonal health based on the science of seed cycling. It contains phase-specific seeds and functional ingredients to nourish your cycle and overall well-being.
  • What is seed cycling, anyway?
Seed cycling is a natural approach to hormone balance, by eating specific seeds during different phases of your cycle. From Day 1 to 14 (menstrual, follicular and ovulation phase), you eat flax and pumpkin seeds; from Day 15 to 28 (luteal phase), you switch to sesame and sunflower. Semi makes this simple and delicious.
  • How does it work?
Each "Semi" is tailored to your cycle phase: Purple Semi (Phase 1): Flax & Pumpkin seeds to support estrogen. Pink Semi (Phase 2): Sesame & Sunflower seeds to support progesterone.
  • What does it taste like?
Like a guilt-free treat! Rich cocoa, sweet dates, warming cinnamon, and a chewy, satisfying texture make it a nourishing snack you'll actually crave for.
  • Is it a magic pill?
Nope! It’s a consistent, functional food. Your body does the work when you give it the right fuel. Semi supports your natural hormonal rhythm over time.
  • What is the shelf life or expiry time?
The Semi boxes have a clearly printed "Best Before" date. Store in a cool, dry place for maximum freshness. Do not refrigerate.
  • Is it vegan? Gluten-free? What about allergens?
Yes! Semi is 100% vegan and gluten-free. Check the label for details if you have specific allergies, especially to seeds.
  • What makes “Semi” different from other seed cycling snacks?
It’s phase-specific, precisely dosed, clean, and doesn’t require any prep. Unlike generic seed mixes or powders, it’s a complete, convenient ritual.
  • Can I take "Semi" with other supplements?
Yes. Semi is food-based and generally safe with supplements, but if you’re on medication or high-dose hormone medication, consult your doctor.
  • How are the seeds processed?
Our seeds undergo only minimal physical processing, which include thorough cleaning and gentle roasting. We never use synthetic binding agents, fillers, or preservatives—just simple, real ingredients you can trust.
  • I accidentally ate the wrong color. Did I mess up?
Not at all! Just switch back to the right one the next day. Your body is smart. Remember it’s food and it will not harm you
  • When should I start eating "Semi"?
You can start on any day of your cycle. Just count how many days it’s been since your period started and pick the right Semi based on that: If you're between Day 1–14, start with Purple Semi If you're between Day 15–28, start with Pink Semi Then continue daily until Day 28.
  • How do I know which one to eat?
Purple Semi: Days 1–14 (menstruation to ovulation) Pink Semi: Days 15–28 (luteal to next period)
  • What if I have irregular periods or no period at all?
Let the moon lead the way. 1) New Moon to Full Moon: Eat 1 Purple Semi daily 2) Full Moon to New Moon: Eat 1 Pink Semi daily 3) Repeat with each new lunar cycle
  • What is the best time of day to eat it?
Eat them at the same time each day preferably in the mornings, as a sunshine-start!
  • Oops! I missed a few days. What should I do?
No stress. Just resume with the correct phase. Seed cycling is about consistency over time.
  • Can I eat two Semis in one day?
You can—but it’s not necessary. One is the complete daily dose. More won’t harm, but one a day is optimal.
  • Why are there 28 + 2 Semis in the box?
You get 14 of each color for your 28-day cycle. The 2 extras (one of each) are bonus for you to savour or you can show the generous side of you by sharing and introducing it to your loved ones.
  • Can I eat Semi on an empty stomach?
    Yes! It's gentle and filling.
  • Should I avoid anything while eating Semi (coffee, dairy, etc.)?
Not specifically. But pairing it with a balanced lifestyle—less caffeine, more hydration—helps your hormones work better.
